Last November, the Rhythm Kitchen sponsored an event collaborating with YWCA called Soup for the Shelter to bring awareness to what YWCA is doing for the homeless in the Peoria area.  Recently, the organization saw a 30% increase in requests for homeless services and a decrease in donations.  The event brought together a dozen local restaruants each serving one of its specialty soups.  All proceeds benefited YWCA's homeless services.  This year, the Contemporary Art Center joins the Rhythm Kitchen to co-sponsor the event on Tuesday, November 16, 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.  Ticket information is available at ywcapeoria.org and at participating restaurants.  Help YWCA help the homeless!
