The Peoria Academy of Dance and Art is an innovative fine arts school nestled in the heart of Peoria’s historic warehouse district. The Academy offers a wide array of programs for all ages and skill levels, with diverse course offerings:
Dance: Little Dancer Story Hour, intermediate and advanced ballet technique, partnering class, pointe and pre-pointe work, adult and teen ballet, character dance, performance opportunities, and community collaborations.
Visual Arts: Process art, clay classes, nature art, Little Artist Story Hour, watercolor, drawing, 2-D Skill-Building Class, beginning and intermediate sewing classes, special workshops in a variety of mediums and opportunities for students to show their work.
Performance: Voice lessons, theatre, public speaking, logic and debate skills, improv and performance opportunities.
Wellness: Yoga, and mindful art sessions.
