The Downtown Yoga studio is located in the Contemporary Art Center of Peoria, which is located in the Riverfront Arts Center in downtown Peoria. The art-covered walls, hardwood floors, beautiful riverfront views and overall ambiance of the space provide for a wonderful yoga experience. Downtown Yoga focuses on Hatha yoga and currently offers a variety of different classes. Six yoga instructors lead classes of various levels. Trish Needham, Sheila Hanson, Jennifer Robin, Heather Klaus and Emily Coultas teach classes tailored to all levels. Jeanne Perino teaches BreathWalk classes.

This year's Broadway Theater Series kicks off Oct. 26 and 27, 2005, with "Thoroughly Modern Millie"! 
Based on the 1967 Oscar award-winning film, "Thoroughly Modern Millie" is the story of a young girl from Kansas who comes to New York City in search of a new life for herself in the Roaring 1920s. "Thoroughly Modern Millie" takes audiences back to Manhattan at the height of the Jazz Age when women were just beginning to enter the workforce and rewriting the rules of love.
