The Downtown Yoga studio is located in the Contemporary Art Center of Peoria, which is located in the Riverfront Arts Center in downtown Peoria. The art-covered walls, hardwood floors, beautiful riverfront views and overall ambiance of the space provide for a wonderful yoga experience. Downtown Yoga focuses on Hatha yoga and currently offers a variety of different classes. Six yoga instructors lead classes of various levels. Trish Needham, Sheila Hanson, Jennifer Robin, Heather Klaus and Emily Coultas teach classes tailored to all levels. Jeanne Perino teaches BreathWalk classes.

Southern fried comedian Bill Engvall will take the Theater stage to reflect on 20 years of marriage, getting old, and pointing out the stupid. Engvall's ability to share the humor in everyday situations, which people can relate to, has made him one of the country's top comedians. Engvall's comedy encompasses a wide range of topics that include kids, family life and animals. Engvall currently stars in the new sketch comedy show "Blue Collar TV" on Fridays at 8:30 p.m. Central Time on the WB network. The ensemble cast includes Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy. The new show came about due to the success of the movie "Blue Collar Comedy Tour," which premiered on Comedy Central and was the most watched movie in the channel's history and has sold more than 2 million copies.
