The Downtown Yoga studio is located in the Contemporary Art Center of Peoria, which is located in the Riverfront Arts Center in downtown Peoria. The art-covered walls, hardwood floors, beautiful riverfront views and overall ambiance of the space provide for a wonderful yoga experience. Downtown Yoga focuses on Hatha yoga and currently offers a variety of different classes. Six yoga instructors lead classes of various levels. Trish Needham, Sheila Hanson, Jennifer Robin, Heather Klaus and Emily Coultas teach classes tailored to all levels. Jeanne Perino teaches BreathWalk classes.

The Fine Art Fair is this weekend at the Peoria RiverFront! The Peoria Art Guild Fine Art Fair has been rated one of the top 100 art fairs in the country - a designation that's extremely difficult to achieve and maintain. Qualification depends on the quality of artwork displayed in the show, artist income and the organization's ability to professionally judge, manage and promote the event. Over 700 artists nationwide applied for the 150 available spaces. That means we have some of the best artists in the nation showing their work in Central Illinois. There's also jazz, food, and the Kids Art Festival for fun and hands-on art activities. Mark your calendar for September 24 and 25, 2005
