Featured Poet: Sheri Purpose Hall
Sheri Purpose Hall is a prolific author, highly decorated performance artist and founder of East of Red ArtHouse and CEO of Poetry for Personal Power. She is the author of four books, including a workbook Writing Wrongs: Writing to Heal which won an award from Bike for the Brain. Pinball Tournament at Gone Axe Throwing
Tournament Description:
Warm-ups can start during regular business hours (2 PM) and end at 6 pm sharp.
$15 entry – ($5 for coin drop, $10 for prize pot). Payouts will be 40-30-20-10% for the top 4 finishers.
Pre-registration is encouraged. Walk-in on the day of the event is subject to availability.
Tournament Rules:
Qualifying: 5 rounds of Balanced 4 Player MatchPlay. Scoring is 7/5/3/1 in 4-player games and 7/4/1 in case of a 3-player game. The initial round will be random matchups, after that the Balanced matchmaking will make an attempt to have everyone play everyone at least once.
Playoffs: Top 8 qualify for a two-game final. The top overall seed gets to choose either machine or order, followed by 2nd/3rd/4th respectively. 1st gets 40% of the pot, 2nd gets 30%, 3rd gets 20%, 4th gets 10%.
Playoff ties will be a 1 ball challenge on a randomly drawn game.
