Chicago Farmer is a Delavan, IL native named Cody Diekhoff. He specializes in folk music, bringing is own twist into the genre. He delves into social and political issues that has risen in our world, and speaks on real issues through his music. His approach is relatable and unfeigned. His work is emotional, and can earn a place in any listener's heart. If you have never seen him live, make sure you don't miss him this time to experience his unique work live!

Artists may submit oil, watercolor, pen & ink, pastels, colored pencils, charcoal, mixed media, acrylic, photography, pottery, fiber art, print-making, porcelain, or sculpture. Your piece must depict a scene that is within 100 mile radius of the tri-county area. All artwork must be an original completed in the last two years & ready for hanging or on display in the enclosed cases at the library.

AWARDS AND RIBBONS: Winners will be notified by phone.
BEST OF SHOW - $300 / SECOND PLACE - $ 50 / FIRST PLACE - $ 50 / THIRD PLACE - $ 50

You may preregister - send your check payable to Peoria Historical Society - 611 SW Washington Street, Peoria, IL 61602 -OR- you may bring your check/cash on the day of entry, May 1st, 10:30 am-5:30 pm. Your participation is greatly appreciated.

Sunshine Daydream specializes in performing Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band music in a refreshing high energy, up-tempo style. They have played through at least 150 songs in the Grateful Dead repertoire over the years. You never know what you are going to hear and the sets are designed to please the Dead heads and casual listener. The songs are performed as they are intended: high energy, hard hitting and always danceable. Expect psychedelic and innovative jams as the band navigates the Grateful Dead repertoire. The band is based in Springfield, IL and has gratefully enjoyed the support from the greater Illinois community and beyond.
