Join us each Friday from 5-8 for a self-directed art session enhanced by great background music from Live at the Five Spot from 5:30-7:30. Prices start at $10 and include all supplies for painting or collage. On the first Friday of the month (or on fund-raiser Fridays) the session lasts from 5-9. Feel free to bring your own snacks. Beverages, as well as food, are also available from our neighbors at The Rhythm Kitchen. Call ahead to reserve space if you are coming with a group. Kids Introduction to Art Series at The Hive
Kids Introduction to Art Series at The Hive
From 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. on Saturdays, for kids ages 10-14, this class will be an excellent introduction to various techniques and mediums. Beginning with drawing, the class will include, but not be limited to working with pencils, pastels, watercolors, acrylic and encaustic painting, mixed media, collage, paper mache and more. This is a 12 week session on Saturdays beginning January 25th and ending April 12th. The same class will be offered on Thursdays from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. to allow for make-ups. Cost is $165 for 12 weeks ($15 per remaining sessions for late entries). All materials are included.
