Tambora creates poetic, energetic, Flamenco influenced pop/rock, sung in both Spanish and English. Cindy Youngren’s emotionally charged vocals top off the music, with Tom Hopwood’s intricate nylon string guitar work leading way, washing you into the rhythm of a street festival to dance uninhibited. Filling out the band is Erin Glasnovich-guitar and vocals, Ryan Canier-bass guitar and Chris Di Piazza-djemba. The debut Tambora EP released in 2021 gained attention thanks to heavy airplay of the single "No Tengo Tiempo" on WGLT in Central Illinois and WVIX out of Chicago.
