Come spend the day learning about all the early
transportation innovations of our town!
Tour Peoria Heights in an air-conditioned shuttle bus,
enjoy a box lunch, and then take a guided tour
of the Wheels O’ Time Museum.
Topics will include many aspects of our area’s rich
bicycle and automobile history including Kelly Avenue School,
Trefzger’s building/Rouse Hazard Bicycle Company, bicycle races,
the inventions of Charles Duryea, the Glide automobile,
the Pabst property, Grandview Drive,
Theodore Roosevelt’s 1910 visit to Peoria,
and all things Wheels O’ Time!

Meet in the parking lot of the Peoria Heights City Hall
on Glen, near Prospect. The shuttle bus will leave from there
for a tour of Peoria Heights.
