About the band:
It’s hard to stay still around these boys. They’ve got that toe-tapping, knee-slapping, boot-stomping kind of sound. They get you moving and shaking. Buffalo Wabs & The Price Hill Hustle - part rowdy honkytonk, part old-time pioneers - equates to a sound that sticks with your soul and leaves you singing barefoot into the star sky.

They pull from all sorts of genres - from Lead Belly to John Prine, from Woody Guthrie to Willy Tea Taylor - to create something unique and deep-rooted. These guys lean into the rhythms of the Ohio River Valley - where they’ve walked upon - and look to the songs in the muddy water and the tradition it carries.

To get “hustled” is to get the full-body musical experience - that head-boppin’, hip-swaying, soul-singing with the stranger next to you. It’s the kind of music that encapsulates you into a community of sound, one that becomes familiar once you hear it, like maybe, you’ve been listening to them forever.

About the band:
Easy Riders creator, front man, and lead guitarist is Mike Miller. While he is a little younger than most in his field, he is not lacking in his extensive knowledge of roots music. He has been rocking his brand of Soul, strong vocals, slide guitar, and Jerry Garcia licks since 2008 and has adapted it his to his own style and tone which is rarely emulated. Mike lives every day inundated in music. He has also become a hired gun in the music scene. He works as a hired sub for bands or studio work that needs done. He has become one of the most hard working local musicians in the area, playing in 6 different projects and touring all over the country from Coast to Coast each year. He also hosts a weekly open stage that has successfully been running for two long years.

Aaron Miller (Bass/Vox) is a seasoned veteran of many styles of music and has been a staple in the Peoria scene for years. Performing in such groups as The Creek Road Ramblers and Brainchild, not to mention hosting multiple open stages, Aaron is one of the busiest and most in demand musicians in the area, and a bit of a local legend!

Nick Fairley (Drums) comes from a diverse musical background, having played in Classical, Jazz, Latin, Rock and blues ensembles over the years. He's been steadily backing a number of great projects around the area, catching the eye of all the heavy hitters on the scene. He frequently performs around Central Illinois as a freelance drummer and percussionist and is also available for private drum instruction.

Easy Riders have come a long way in a short amount of time, forming into an energetic show that keeps the people moving. The Easy Riders guarantee to captivate that vintage sound of music.

About the band:

The Rumpke Mountain Boys combine signature vocals, a unique command of string instruments (acoustic guitar, mandolin, upright bass and banjo) and dynamic special effects into a singular musical experience. An emotion filled musical stream of consciousness with no setlist, minimal structure, and intuitive improvisational flow. In this way, they summon the energy of the crowd as their guide in linking just the right music to precise moments in time.

Like playing around a campfire, the Boys take turns calling the next tune, distilling shows from a sea of infinite notes created from years of jamming. Drawing upon a growing catalog of originals and and an eclectic mix of covers, the Rumpke Mountain Boys blend music like a fine Irish whiskey– the result affectionately dubbed Trashgrass. The Boys titled their 2012 album release with the same name, followed by their 2013 release, Moon, which was recorded at the famed Royal Studios in Memphis followed by their current studio release, “High Time, Low Tide”. The band plans to release a brand new live album in 2018.

The Rumpke Mountain Boys have played festivals from coast to coast to ever growing audiences including Northwest String Summit, John Hartford Memorial Festival, Blue Ox, and Dark Star Orchestra’s own Dark Star Jubilee. They have played with artists such as Yonder Mountain String Band, Dark Star Orchestra, Hot Tuna, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, Larry Keel Experience, Peter Rowan, Tony Rice, Dave Bromberg, Vince Herman (Leftover Salmon), Del McCoury, Leon Russell, and Ralph Stanley all while continuously breaking new ground. All of this interaction and touring has the band firing on all cylinders. Now is the time to see the Rumpke Mountain Boys.
