About Woodland Remedy:
Original bluejamgrass bootstompin' breakdown. We pick and grin and crank out a mix of traditional and new grass...with a bit of moonshine.
Starting out as a 3 piece guitar, banjo, and bass trio in 2014, this ragtag group of pickers quickly sparked interest and has since added the bright sounds of fiddle and dobro to the mix. Blending bluegrass, roots, folk, and original songwriting, @Woodland Remedy puts out a sound that's fresh and original with a foot stomping feel. Soaring harmonies backed by wood-splintering picking, they have been busy blazing a trail through the Midwest music scene. With a debut album released and a second on the way in early 2017, Woodland Remedy is looking forward to an amazing future. The crew is from the woods and music is the remedy.
About PhanieRae and the Soul Shakers:
PhanieRae is a five piece Soul/hip hop group with undertones of jazz, rock, funk, and blues, striving to make the music scene green and heal souls in need.
Stephanie Rae Takata (PhanieRae) is a singer / songwriter and performing artist from Riverview Heights who got her start singing at Elandorf Music Festival when she was 15. Inspired by hearing her mom play guitar and sing since she was young. Phanie's voice is soulful, sultry, sweet and so much more with power to heal and she captivates all. Phanie reaches all generations. The whole package! Dusty Cawley is a guitarist from the Midwest with over two decades of experience playing different genres of music. In his spare time he enjoys spending time outdoors with his dog Jackson. Other hobbies include art, kayaking, rock climbing and hiking. Dusty's dream job would be entertaining others with music while traveling the world. Peter Adriel plays bass guitar and sings harmonies. He has performed original music around the US and Australia, where he began building electronic foot drums. Aaron Rademaker, drummer/percussionist. That is one of the many and varied roles this guy takes on in life. When he's not working with the band, Aaron teaches private lessons in four different instruments. Aaron is a devote husband, involved father of four humans, three canines and one feline as well. In his spare time, Aaron enjoys hiking, canoeing, and studying Ancient Hebrew.
