Annual Fine Art Auction
Annual Fine Art Auction
The 6th Annual Fine Art Auction featuring outstanding local artists' original artwork will be held at the Contemporary Art Center on Saturday, February 27. Admission is $15 for members and $25 for nonmembers. The event starts at 7:00 p.m. with outstanding food, a cash bar and live music by John Miller & the Romaniacs performing gypsy jazz. The live auction begins at 8:00 p.m. Like last year, we will have a small amount of art auctioned live by professional auctioneer Jim Roth. The rest will be offered silent auction style. Some of the art offered can be previewed on the website beginning in January. Much of the art will be on display for viewing beginning Thursday, February 18 in the Preston Jackson Gallery on the 2nd floor.
