Grant Wood: From Farm Boy to American Icon
Grant Wood’s life and art have been the subject of much speculation. This Fine Arts Society lecture will examine Grant Wood’s life, his artwork, and how his reputation has evolved over the years. The presenter is Kate Kunau, Associate Curator at the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, which has nearly 300 of Wood’s artworks in its collection. Social time at 9:30 AM. Program begins at 10:00 AM.
