William (Billy) Couri is a freshman congressman having just been elected to the House of Reps. His bride Trina (Not short for Katrina) Mott is a weekend on location reporter for WHOI-TV. Hilarity ensues when Billy's traditional Lebanese family (a pillar in Peoria) and Trina's gun toting, NASCAR loving, camo wearing kin mix!

One of the Peoria Park District’s signature events returns to the RiverFront in 2016. The first day (8/5) of the River City Soul Fest celebrates Gospel music with a variety of local choirs and performers. Gospel star Dpttie Peoples will headline the evening!
