Join the Fogelberg Foundation of Peoria as it hosts the 5th annual Dan Fogelberg Celebration on Saturday, October 25. The festivities start with a gathering at the Dan Fogelberg Memorial in Riverfront Park at 11 a.m. There will be a blessing/song/moment of gratitude at the memorial, followed by a picnic lunch.
The Celebration culminates with a Dan Fogelberg tribute concert at 7 p.m. Saturday evening at the Peoria Riverfront Museum Theater. Musicians performing in the tribute concert include: Sheldon Felich, Tim Jessup, Jay Hennessy, Eric Mills, Tim Harr, Stephanie Weatherford, Bryan Chrisman and Tamara Anderson. This year marks the 40th anniversary of Dan's "Souvenirs" album, which was the one that sky-rocketed his career. To honor that milestone, "Souvenirs" will be performed in its entirety.
General admission tickets are $35 and are available online at www.peoriariverfrontmuseum.org/events and at the museum box office. There is limited seating so purchase early.
