River City Soul Fest
River City Soul Fest
Friday, August 16 – Gospel Night – Entertainment featuring Earnest Pugh
Saturday, August 17 - R&B Night featuring Mint Condition
One of the Peoria Park District’s signature events returns to the RiverFront's Festival Park as the River City Soul Fest celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2013!
The first day of the River City Soul Fest celebrates Gospel music with a variety of local choirs headlined by Earnest Pugh! Earnest Pugh has brought style and sophistication back to the gospel music genre just like Sam Cooke did back in gospel music’s golden era. Over the last few years, he’s earned the title as Gospel’s Leading Man for his marquee #1 radio anthems such as “Rain On Us” and “I Need Your Glory.” Tickets for Friday, August 16th are available at the gate for $10.00.
This year’s River City Soul Fest will also feature a variety of merchants, vendor booths, food, and much more.
Doors open at 6pm both nights.
