One of the Peoria Park Districts signature events returns to the RiverFront in 2011. The first day (8/12) of the River City Soul Fest celebrates Gospel music with a variety of local choirs and performers and will be headlined by VaShawn Mitchell. Tickets will be $10 the night of the show.

Day two (8/13) will feature more local talent on stage to open for the R&B headlining act, BLACKSTREET. Accompanied by a live band, Blackstreet will be performing with its original members; Teddy Riley, Dave Hollister, Eric Williams, and Mark Middleton right here in Peoria!
