Cruise along the picturesque Illinois River and relive the adventures of Mark Twain as the sounds of the calliope drift through the valley.

The Peoria Park District and Peoria Hispanics group are proud to welcome back our latest cultural music festival on the Riverfront! Fiesta en el Rio returns in 2011, this year it moves to an earlier date in July. Fiesta features authentic Latin American food and drink, a children’s area, local musicians, a traveling mariachi band, and much more. To top it off, we will feature a new musical headliner, Los Vicios de Papa! We will once again feature a soccer tournament starting at 9am in the Festival Park sports field, followed by the main event at the CEFCU Center Stage @ The Landing opening at 3pm. Admission is $7/Adult or $20 / Family.
