The Peoria Park District and the German American Central Society are proud to present our second annual Maifest on the RiverFront.  This traditional German event is a celebration of springtime and music.  Don't miss out on seeing the authentic Maypole and sampling some delicious signature food and drink.  Entertainment includes The Brummers, die Spitzbaum, and Jay Fox, as well as a log sawing contest, Alphorn contest, and the Maifest Parade and Ceremony.
