In honor of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, the 2nd Annual Share "A Walk to Remember" begins at 10:45 a.m. at the Peoria RiverPlex. A memorial service and one-mile walk are scheduled to allow parents, friends and families the opportunity to honor, love and remember their babies.
Check-in and registration will be outside the Peoria RiverPlex from 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. along the RiverFront Walk. The memorial service will begin at 10:45 a.m. with prayers and song. Babies' names will be read off and a balloon release will follow. The walk begins at 11:15 a.m. Food and refreshemnts will be provided as well as a craft area for children. Registration is $20 for adults and $15 for children 5 -10 years. Walk registration brochures can be downloaded from Share's website, www.nationalshareoffice.com.
