We are pleased to welcome the Taste of Peoria to the RiverFront this year!  From 4:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m., nearly 40 Peoria area restaurants will provide a taste of their most popular menu items to a crowd of more than 50,000 local residents.  A variety of appetizers, entrees, and desserts will be sold for one to two dollars each.  In addition to a selection of seafood, BBQ, Italian, Indian, and Oriental cuisine, the Taste of Peoria features its own Margaritaville and live entertainment on two stages.  The entertainment line up for this year includes:  Bubble Gum Jack, Thrillsville, Trippin' Billies, Sullivan Burton and the Jim Markum Swing Band.

Admission is free before 5:00 p.m. and $1 from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m.  In case of rain, The Taste of Peoria will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2006.
