Peoria Symphony Orchestra
Peoria Symphony Orchestra

This is a concert of gentler passions, superb songs and fine flights of fancy.

Schubert's famous "Unfinished Symphony," surrounded by mastery since its first discovery after the composer's death, is one of the young master's deepest and most beautiful works. PSO Concertmaster Marcia Henry-Liebenow will portray the flight of the lark in Vaughan William's idyllic and luminescent musical poem. Finally, Mendelssohn's impressions of Scotland are revealed in his gorgeous virtuoso "Symphony No. 3." Featuring violin soloist Marcia Henry-Liebenow.
