04/14/05, All Day
The Garden Brothers Circus, recognized throughout the world as one of the largest circus productions, will bring its show to the Peoria Civic Center Arena on Thursday, April 14, at 4 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Kids 12 and under and Seniors are $10 (kids admitted free with yellow coupons). Adults ages 13+ are $28. (2 for 1 adult blue coupons and kids yellow coupons are available through local fast food locations and grocery stores.) The Garden Brothers Circus features the G.B.C. Performing Elephants, Asian elephants that are big but surprisingly agile. The elephants will perform headstands, leg lifts, lay downs and sit downs. These magnificent creatures truly are the Entertainment Giants of the show. The Globe of Death features the Dominguez Thrill Riders who perform high-speed tricks on their motorcycles. The riders criss-cross each other's paths at speeds exceeding 80 km/h, as they perform dangerous loops going sideways and upside down. Renaldo the clown, whose influences include Harpo Marx and Charlie Chaplin, will entertain the crowd with his antics.
