Za Funk! is now scheduled to perform music for the Halloween Live at the Five Spot on Friday, October 22, 6:30-9:30pm, with an extra hour for the same admission! With roots in blues, rock, soul and funk, they will get everyone up dancing and having a good time! A new floor plan restores the dance floor with room to show off. Dress up to try to win the costume contest with prizes including a blown glass pumpkin and a wine stopper both by local glass artist Jeremie Draper, owner of Draper Glass at 929 N. Sheridan. Everyone can vote by ballot for their favorite costume. The previously scheduled group, The Brazilionaires, had to cancel. Current ticket holders may request a full refund.

About the band:
ZA Funk! is the melding of old and new to create a high energy, refresh on the music that has kept feet tapping and people dancing for generations. With roots in blues, rock, soul, funk, and gospel, ZA Funk! reaches the souls of the masses.

In accordance with the state mask mandate, indoor mask wearing is mandatory (regardless of vaccination status) at events. Between bites and sips, remask. Masks must be worn when entering, dancing, exiting, moving about the room, and talking to someone other than those you came with. Hand sanitizer will be present at the doors. Performers are required to wear a mask when not performing.
