Backbend Workshop at First Ascent Peoria

Backbending is a perfect way to strengthen the spine and open the front of the chest.

Benefits include:
-opening the chest, shoulders, and hip flexors
-increased mobility of the spine
-increased energy

We spend hours rounding and leaning over cell phones and computers. This can create a variety of problems for the spine and body. In this intro to backbending workshop, First Ascent Yoga Instructor Jeni Pendl will focus on healthy posture habits as well as gently and safely warm and prepare the body for backbend postures such as camel and bow pose.

Cost is $10, and attendees will need to sign a waiver at before participating in the workshop.
