Architecture and Life. Cynthia Weese became an architect at a time when few women entered this field. In this Fine Arts Society program, she will talk about the influences in her life, including the landscape of her childhood, and working in the revitalization of Chicago’s older urban neighborhoods during the turbulent 1960s. Ms. Weese, FAIA and Principal in Weese Langley Weese, Ltd., is the recipient of the first Lifetime Achievement Award from Chicago Women in Architecture. Social time at 9:30 AM. Program begins at 10:00 AM. Peoria Riverfront Museum, lower level auditorium. Admission is $12 for adults, $5 for students.
