Peoria Recovery Project

04/21/18 09:00AM - 04:00PM

The Peoria Recovery Project is a community-wide heroin/opioid educational event on Saturday, April 21 from 9am-4pm at the Peoria Civic Center. Whether an individual is currently struggling with addiction, in recovery, or has a loved one who has been affected by this national epidemic, our mission is to REACH a solution.

R - RECOVERY:  Bring together as many local and abroad resources as possible for individuals to conquer their addiction.
E - EDUCATION:  Curb the stigma associated with this disease so we can shift the focus to rebuilding and healing.
A - ADVOCACY:  Spread our dedication to find a solution for this epidemic, inspiring other communities to unite.
C - COMMUNITY:  Stand together to show those affected they are not alone in fighting this battle with their addiction.
H - HEALTH:  Provide financial assistance for medical and recovery options, ensuring individuals get the help they need.

Event will feature keynote speaker Tim Ryan, A&E's Dope Man, and a growing list of other speakers. Over 20 resource booths to visit!
