Light the Night is a national fundraising campaign to commemorate and celebrate lives touched by cancer.  This is a two to three mile non-competitive evening walk; patients and survivorscarry white illuminated balloons while supporters, family and friends carry red balloons.  During the event, participants are also invited to share in food, live entertainment, and fun!  This event will create public awareness about blood cancers and raise funds for the ongoing work of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  Join us on Thursday, October 5th in front of CEFCU stage on Peoria's RiverFront.  Registration and festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. and the Walk starts at 7:00 p.m.  To register or for more information, call Jen Wittleder at 309-451-1692 or go to www.lightthenightt.org/il.
