Hilary Duff, the pop world's favorite girl-next-door, will bring her "Still Most Wanted Tour" to the Peoria Civic Center Arena on Tuesday, August 16, 2005, at 7 p.m.
Hilary is touring in support of her recently released self-titled album, "Hilary Duff," and her debut solo album, "Metamorphosis." Tickets are $45, not including service charges, and are on sale now through the Peoria Civic Center Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, charge by phone at 309-676-8700 or online at ticketmaster.com. A triple-threat talent, 17-year-old Hilary has become a music, film and television phenomenon thanks to an unbroken string of hits that began with her starring role in the Disney Channel Original Series "Lizzie McGuire," the record-breaking No. 1 show in its timeslot. Hilary made her singing debut on that hit sitcom, lending her fresh vocals and sunny style to "I Can't Wait" from the RIAA-certified platinum "Lizzie McGuire Television Soundtrack." In her motion picture debut, Hilary co-starred with Frankie Muniz in 2003's action-adventure hit "Agent Cody Banks." Next came singing and starring roles in "The Lizzie McGuire Movie," in which Hilary played an American tourist mistaken for a huge singing star. Proving that life imitates art, Hilary's singing career has exploded on Top 40 radio, MTV and Top 200 retail charts. "Metamorphosis" - her amazingly appealing debut solo album of 13 songs - shipped well in excess of gold with 800,000 copies in August 2003 and charted No. 2 on the Billboard 200 its first week of release.
