Bark in the Park

On Sunday, October 9, 2011 dogs & their owners
will hightail it to the Peoria Riverfront for the Peoria
Humane Society’s 15th annual Bark in the Park. Hundreds
of paws & feet will walk for animals in our community.
Proceeds benefit humane education, low-cost spay/neuter,
cruelty rescue, volunteer, community awareness, adoption
programs and much more.

WHO’S INVITED

People who care about animals and want to spend a fun
day in the park with their best dog-friend, but you don’t
need a dog to participate!
WHEN & WHERE
Sunday, October 9, 2011 (rain or shine)
Festival Park – enter at the Gateway Building on Peoria’s
Riverfront, at Hamilton and Water.

REGISTRATION FEES

Advance Registration – $20 per dog (includes 1 person)
Event Day Registration – $25 per dog (includes 1 person)
• All dogs attending must be registered for the event.
• Each dog requires a separate registration form & fee.
• Only one dog per person.
• You can also register and participate without a dog!
• Each registrant receives a Bark t-shirt, bandanna, goodie
bag, souvenir photo & may bring one dog to the event.

ADMISSION NON-REGISTERED GUESTS

13 years and over – $5.00 per person
12 and under – FREE!

IMPORTANT TIMES

11:00 am – Registration & Check-in. Activities
begin: paw print painting, carnival games, exhibitors, raffles,
dog obedience demos, souvenir photos, food vendors &
more!
11:00-11:50 am – Mutt Show Sign-Up (at the stage)
12:00 pm – Great American Marvelous Mutt Show
1:00 pm – WALK BEGINS
2:30 pm – Raffle Drawings!
