River City Soul Fest – Friday Aug 12 & Saturday Aug 13, 2011
One of the Peoria Park Districts signature events returns to the RiverFront in 2011. The first day (8/12) of the River City Soul Fest celebrates Gospel music with a variety of local choirs and performers and will be headlined by VaShawn Mitchell. Tickets will be $10 the night of the show.
Day two (8/13) will feature more local talent on stage to open for the R&B headlining act, BLACKSTREET. Accompanied by a live band, Blackstreet will be performing with its original members; Teddy Riley, Dave Hollister, Eric Williams, and Mark Middleton right here in Peoria!
Tickets for Saturday's show will be $20 and on sale at www.etix.com, all local Co-Op Records Stores, The Riverfront Visitor's Center and by phone at 1-800-514-ETIX.
